looks fantastic. great job. :agree:
can you throw up a pic of where your NACA duct goes through the firewall? i am debating about doing the same and haven't decided if i want to go throught the top by the normal air intake for the engine compartment and top feed the carbs or come in lower in front of them.

very nice!!
This is my volksubagen in Bangkok, Thailand the engine is used to be EJ20 WRX 2000cc DOHC 260 PS (Japan spec) but in the picture it is EJ22 2200cc SOHC with turbocharger. Now 2200 has broken and I decided to run with EJ20 WRX 260 PS again. It is in process now. PS. Sorry about my language. English is not my first language. :-) |

Reub your bug has been a big inspiration for my project even when it was primered Now that it's painted it's drop dead gorgeous!! I'd also like to see where that naca duct in the drivers side goes and if you have any more detailed shots of the engine bay I'd love to see them. Excellent, excellent car

Cheers for the comments.
The cooling is still not 100%. Taking a break from it for a while....plus I've recently bought a 58 beetle daily driver that's getting some minor attention, including a warm 1916 for a little added driveability. I'll take a pic of where the air intake goes through the firewall. Keep in mind though that the firewall is nowhere near a std VW setup anymore... x_hodhoo - nice ride dude! :agree: |

x_hodhoo,
I am realy 'feeling' your Bug. My skin is crawling/tingling :agree: Dont worry, your English is much better than my 'Thai'! The other Bug is sweet too, and VERY ....uhm....... RED!

Here is a pic during construction that shows the 3" tube that passes through the fabricated fire wall. Nothing out of the ordinary...
Hope this helps. |

both deserve a good feature car write up right here. screw the mags...i mean mag (in the states). while having something in print is VERY cool, too often the coverage is disappointing in my opinion and they are all concerned about exclusivity on stories/cars. i prefer the "open source" approach. i just need you guys to send me some back story on the car and yourself and make sure all of the car details are in your profile or send them to me. oh, and more pics of course. if you want to write the article yourself, feel free. just contact me if you are interested.
