To do. To do! To do!!! %&#(*^#(

Oh my the list to be accomplished IF this bus is ready for Tampa.

- 2 tires for the rears
- Weld in and allign rear control arm mounts. Not easy at all!
- find two eccentric bolts for the 944 arms swingplate adjusters. (burried somewhere I think in the basement)
- Junkyard for a good pass heat exchanger and rear IRS bearing spacer.
- Tune engine and carbs.
- Unsure on the exact needs for the emergency brakes. Custom for sure.

The good:
- Tranny ready for action.
- Axles ready and T2 CVs.
- All the little stuff there and ready minus the 3 little things above. Tires I do not see as an issue at all.

Additional work needed later:
- new front tie rod ends.
- allignment on a professional machine for front and rear.
- Heater cables installed.

Arg is this fun? Sick I tell you!

Later,

Update.

No go on the '66 Too much to do still. And as Jake was saying, do it once and do it right even if it takes a while.

Good news is that I am bumming a '71 Westi to get there Little Susan and myself will be there! Yeah!

Oh and yes it is good to be back at home and able to work on the VW again... 6 weeks away only gives the fingernails enough time to clean the grease out from under them!

Take Care,
