Type 4 Intakes for Dual Kadrons

Anyone know if there are Type 4 Intakes for Dual Kadron 40's?
Also what about linkage for Type 4?

I have a fairly new set with about 6 months use on them, I could use them or sell them I guess if parts arent available for T4.

What's the bolt spacing on Kadrons? Type 4s came with dual solex carbs, maybe they would fit those manifolds or with an adapter? Measure your carbs and post the distance between the bolt centers, I have some solex manifolds, I'll bet we can figure something out.

center to center bolt spacing is 3 5/8" on the manifolds

EMPI now offers a complete kit for the T4 with manifolds and linkage. Also you use to be able to get them from FAT. They had a run made a few years back. Not sure if they have anymore, but they still advertise them. Hope this helps

Lightbulb ...

Maybe you can use a redrilled or welded version of CB's #3082 34 ICT Weber manifolds for the Type 4!

Stock type 4 carb manifolds are 2 3/8" from center to center of the studs. Here's the plan, remove the carb mounting studs from the manifold, cut an adapter from 1/2" aluminum plate, counter sink the holes for the manifold and mount the plate with counter sunk flat head machine screws, you could through bolt the carb to the plate or tap the plate for studs or bolts if you prefer. A couple of gaskets and your in business for the cost of some aluminum scrap and some time. You may need to buy a hole saw for the throttle bore if you don't have one. If Kadrons have a bore larger than 1 3/8" like the manifolds you should spend some time enlarging the manifold as much as possible to match and taper the adapter if you can't get a perfect match.
I have some stock manifolds if you need a pair.
