H2O on Air

I have a 1973 early strut style super. I have topeline adjustables with EMPI springs. Rear is still stock height. Drums on all four corners. Fenders all stock. I plan on studding new drums for 5x100 H2O bolt patterns. I just bought some 2003 17x7 GTI 38et factory rims.

Question 1: Will I need Maxx struts to run this offset with 205 or 215/40/17's?

Question: Will this set-up fit under stock front fenders?

Question 3: Will factory rear tire size 225/45/17's fit under stock rear fenders?

Question 4: Will I need to do the stud replacement for rear tire/rim clearance?

Question 5: any companies out there selling 5x100 PCD drums and discs? I know blanks are availible.

Thanks

Hi
I'm trying to do something similar to my 3 bolt strut style 1303. I've not been able to get front drums at different stud patterns and have been told it wouldn't work anyway (offset i think?), so i've now bought a second hand disc conversion. I also have discs and rear drums drilled for 4x100. thought this was all i need but have now found out I need slimline strutts like topline maxx or kerscher ones to use a 7or 7.5x17"
So after reading hundreds of posts and phone calls if this is all used and wheels are of offset 50mm or there about you should be able to run 17" under standard fenders.
Sorry i don't know about your ET38 offset, maybe its just a spacer job? I'm sure if i'm wrong someone will help out. (maybe i'm way off )

www.Machine7.co.uk can do discs/drums at 5x100 or anything else you would like.
