Rear sub-frame assembly help ?

Im in the process of drawing up plans to build a rear sub-frame assembly to hang an 091 box and support a wrx engine..... I also want to beef up the top suspension bolt as i've converted to coilovers..

i've drawn up some plans for the main bar from the top of the two towers.. I dont want the suspension relying just on the M12 top bolt so the bar would have to be more or less on top the towers but with the coilover top resting ont he underneath of the bar, so the coilover is now puiishing on a fixed bar rather than the single bolt.....

forgot to mention I want to remove the gearbox horns to enable easy gearbox removal.

the material for the bar is 50mmx50mmx2.5mm(wall)

Any ideas and or pics of any done and completed ?

cheers]

chris

Unless you triangulate like I did, you have to rely on the shock towers I think, or go with a full cage. Are you entering into the passenger compartment or not?
