17 inch wheels on lowered front beam

Hi guys i am new to this forum but i would like to know if the porsche 17 inch wheels can work on a stock lowered beam with stock fenders. My car is a 1972 beetle with a 1835cc type 1 engine.

The Porsche Boxster wheel 7x17 ET55 will fit under stock fenders with a spacer.
It was mentioned here on the forum that you can also fit 7X17 ET 40. 7.5x17 ET52 will also work.
