I found a 914 box that I want to by but I don't know if it is a 5 speed or proper for the swap. The numbers on the case are 914 301 101 00. Will this work?

On the lower rib, there should be another set of number.. something like 901/1 or 912/0 or others.. what combo is listed, as this will give you the right insight to figure out what you have.. assuming the box has not been modified by PO.
The number you listed, is most like the case part number, can't cross check since I am work.. Alex

Well, no luck with the other numbers. They guy with the trans said there are no other numbers. He did mention it was a side shift. My biggest concern is that it is a 5 speed unless those of you with knowledge are aware of something else I should look out for.
