How much track increase with Porsche front hubs?
Hi
OK Ive searched and searched and I cant find out how much the front track will increase if 944 or 911 front hubs are adapted to stock Beetle front spindles. Can anyone help? Steve

I think that's because it varies depending on how people modify the hubs.
FYI, doing it my way added about 10mm to each side.. Or are you talking about complete spindles onto struts? Rich

Hi Rich
Im thinking a few steps ahead with my car. 17 inch Boxster wheels seem to be getting cheap, the rears will be OK now that I have 944 alloy arms but the fronts will be to far in, so I was thinking of using the 944 hubs only as a way of pushing the wheels out without having to use spacers. I need to move the each wheel out about 32 mm. When I had 16 x 7 Fuchs (ET 23) on the front they fitted OK, so with 55 ET Boxster wheels I would need to space them by 32 mm to get them fitting the same as my old Fuchs. I've kept all the Porsche brakes and 3 bolt struts that were on my old 1302 for the 1303. Steve

I used the wheel studs and spacer from the rear 944 stuff...
