Question front bumper for standard beetle

Does any one know where I can find a front spoiler or better yet a front bumper for my standard beetle. Every thing I have found so far is for a super beetle or the web site is in german. I already looked at creative car crafts one, but it's very 80's. any help would br appreciated.

Yeah I know those front air-dams a$$ ugly but If you got fiberglass skills and a little creativity you can modify one for yourself...

Just use your imagination, and hang in there some one, some where is bound to make a better looking fascia for the AC Bug, at least I hope so because I had the same problems that you had

When I modify my own maybe I'll post a pic for you if your interested...

Thats if I like what I come up with well enough:silly:

Good idea, I could modify the ccc one or make my own. After posting I did some more looking and after downloading japanese text software I took a look at j-sports website. From what I can read they make a front bumper for 68' and newer beetles. It looks pretty good. Take a look for yourself at www.jeffreys-vw.com When you finish your front bumper post the pic, I would like to see it. If I get brave and make one I will post a pic of mine.

great for you...get brave man!!
I've already looked at the j-sports air-dam and emailed them to see if they ship to the US, etc. I never got a reply from them at all! I was kinda upset about that but decided to buy the ccc fascia and add on and take away what I saw nessesary to model it after the j-sport one. It's a little harder than I thought with out physical measurements but I have good ideas...

Think Auto CAD... these program work extremly well...

Good luck!

If you do get a hold of j-sports let me know

Spoiler

I don't know yet if you've found what you were looking for, but try this: http://www.beetleracing.com/catalog/...products_id=30
Made in Germany, but on a local (Australian) website.
