Replacement Truck.
I found a replacement for the Chebby on Tuesday...'82 Toyota 4WD, 118k miles , got no factory options except a radio, and a siding window, and is bone stock except for the wheels. Tires are bigger too...
I was so happy about finding one still in good condition I had to share. I'll prolly keep it a year or so and then, somehow, it'll prolly get totalled too.

Joe, that truck has YETI written all over it. Needs some stickers on the back window or something.
When are you taking us and the xxxtera 4 offroading?

YES I DID!! It was the first thing I thought of when I saw the truck for sale. That was absolutely amazing. Thinking about that makes me wish that mine was a Diesel too. These trucks were what helped Toyota get that reputation of durability. I don't believe I'll be conducting my own acid test to prove it further though. I'm just gonna drive it. :agree:

that show was great. they did a follow-up as well in which they put it on top of a 20+ story building they were collapsing...it survived yet again.
congrats on the find. always loved those trucks. and it is definitely you. i just got my daily driver replacement for the Ghia (still for sale though). it is a slightly different kind of off-roader...the subby way...and fast as hell. :agree: hope to see you a Taccoa.
