Talking Panel hits the streets!!!...sort of.

Finally got it running this week! Did a quick repaint on the pass door, engine lid, front spoiler. Rear hatch was farmed out and is still not back.
Couple of laps around the neighborhood so far... pulls like a freight train!
In looking at the pics, it's obvious what I re-painted, but in person it doesn't seem as noticeable. It took four trips to the paint store just to get this close on the match...still, not bad for matching 10 year old paint...

Awesome, Panel. It must feel great to finally drive it. Congrats !

My project is going slow, although I did make some progress this weekend.

SWEET
I know this is a great day for you. It looks very clean. I like the exhaust cut-out.
Dose this mean we will see it in June? Have you boiled the tires for the neighbors?

Thanks eveybody. I haven't been very adventerous yet, just putting around the block and checking everything out. I've got some tire rub issues up front to deal with immeadiately before I can go far... time to research coilovers for the front . Hopefully something that can just bolt in, in place of the factory shock.
Just being able to pull it in and out of the garage at will is HUGE !

GOOD GOD!!

man that is amazing. can't wait to see it in person. congrats on the milestone. i like the decision on the front spoiler. very well executed (like everything else).

i will be back on the road within the next few weeks. the club cars are firming up nicely. no_h2o has his new powerplant going in about the same time as mine. june is going to be fun. do what you can to get it there.

I had some tire rub when I first took mine out. You will get it worked out. I can't wait to here the first story of a pimped out Honda having it's @$$ handed to it by a Panel Bus.

The best part is explaining to people that it has nothing to do with bikers or nazis.

When I first got it, I thought the safaris were the coolest thing since sliced bread. Immeadiately hopped in and buzzed into town (via the interstate) to show my mom. Note to self; 70mph on the interstate with no windsheild...not as cool as first imagined...
