super beetle drop spindles

Does anyone make drop spindles for the super beetles? No one that i know of sells them but i came across an ebay auction for a 72 super where the guy says in the description that he has drop spindles with the car but uninstalled. So i emailed him asking if he had meant drop struts instead of spindles and he emailed me back saying that he knows what he has and that they are from KB performance and they are 1.5 inch drop SPINDLES. I searched for a link to them with no luck so i'm going to email him back for a picture and a link to them. heres the auction.

i'm betting he doesn't know what he's talking about. he probably does have drop spindles for a standard and hasn't realized they don't work on supers. or maybe the person who sold them to him doesn't know that.

and what's kb performance? is someone meaning cb performance?

Hi

And reason that you can't buy dropped spindles for a super is that if the spindles were dropped, the lower ball joint would run into the wheel.

well he refuses to send pics and gave me a ''lesson'' on spindles so i will just conclude he has standard spindles and wont swollow his pride and own up to the mistake. but he said he does have 'special tires to allow his spindles to work with out interfearing with the balljoint and that he got them from cb performance.
