bbs rims - advice

Hi

was going to go with 944 brakes and porsche turbos on my gl cab but dont think my budgets gonna stretch at the mo so looked at bbs etc on ebay, some of the split rims are really nice although not sure what would fit on a 1302ls

what stud patterns do they come in? i see porsche fitment and bmw etc

im looking for 17 or 18" 7-7.5" with et 40 - 55 is this correct?

what about ease of fitment

thanks for help

if in the future you intend to do a porsche brake upgrade buy the porsche wheels and adapters to convert to 130pcd,or have the hubs redrilled ,if you buy a different bolt pattern a brake upgrade will become more difficult later, about 40-55et is ok remember the bigger the et the more adjustment you have 55et +20mm spacer =et35 so if you are not sure because of missaligned panels etc get a slightly larger et and spacer to get the correct spacing to the wings ,remember if you are lowering/raising the car camber will have to be taken into account also
cheers
