Body work opinion

What do you guys think, try and straighten it out, or just reskin it?

I've got a 67 nose I can use.

Trying to decide on filling in the fried eggs or not also.

How good are you with a dolly/hammer? Looks like you can get to both sides. If you can dolly it out and weld the holes it would be better to fix it. If your dolly skills aren't up to snuff you splice and butt welding skills need to be top notch, that is a lot of stitch welding and a big warp would be just as hard to dolly out. I would dolly it weld the holes and skim coat it with good filler and get out the board file.

I'm actually pretty good with a dolly and hammer. I've got a shrinking hammer that is my best friend.

So far, fixing it looks like the best bet. There are a few spots that are hard to get to, but I can always weld some nails on the outside and pull them out.

I used one of those stud welders that spot welds a stud on the body for the puller. They are sweet. You can put a row of studs down a line and pull like hell, then grind them off.

yes yes, the vert is first. It should go together quick after I get some paint on the 67 bug and get it out of the shop.

Can you say too many projects?

Zen's brakes are done, so Novembers projects are:

Get the pad poured under my shop
Finish building and install the motor in my 911
Replace the carpet in my dining room
Install all the windows and interior panels in my 73 bus
Plus two photo shoots

No problem
