Lightbulb kafer-cup fenders!!??

Hey guys and gals,

With all the folks who respond to this forum, many who can fab glass-fibre and carbon-fibre would anybody be willing to start up production on some k-cup flared fenders?????

The only sources I can find are all in Dutschland! As far as I'm concerned these are the true german-look fenders.

I can't even imagine what shipping for a set a fenders and a 911 dash would be.... any Ideas?

I'm sure that there are more of you out there who feel the same way I do. How impossible of a task is this? If you are interested respond to this thread and let brainstorm a realistic approach to tackling this problem and try toget these pieces with having to go through the world bank for a loan!!!!

I hope I'll make a 911 dash soon. Lowest price and shipping to US about $30-$35.If you can wait you'll see.
I do not know about shipping from Germany but from Romania to US its not so high. For instance for one of my spoilers insured air shipping costs $22, I bet it would cost almost the same to shipp from one part of US to the other...
You just have to ask, in some cases the shipping charges could not be so high.
I love flared fenders, but I do not have the oportunity to make those(no model here)...

hope this helps.

Take care,

Martin

Hi guys,

About the RHD 1303 dash: I can make one in the near future but I need someone to send me a stock 1303 RHD dash(any condition) so I can work on that one(I'll return it in the same condition off course).Thats in the near future.
A 1300 and 1302 (LHD) will come sooner.

Take care,

Martin

Hello Martin.

Shouldn't be a problem. I've driven for 1/2 a year with no dash, so a few more weeks is nothing.

Email me and let's talk!!!

I like your chin spoiler. I have a Kamei orginal and it's getting quite banged up. Should be getting one from you in the near future. Maybe we'll ship it together with the dash to save some shipping, ok?

And I want to ask, is yours made from fiberglass or ABS plastic? I see it's smooth on both the inside and outside. Very nicely done!

But will it crack upon impact? My '03 is quite low and I always scrape the Kamei one on the humps, but it's taking it well coz it's ABS plastic.

Thanks!

Sprint.

I would be VERY interested in a 1303 dash/porsche dash hybrid in RHD.

Could you drop me a line when one's ready? Or if you need a RHD 1303 dash (I have a spare one!)

Cheers,
Sam C

Hey guys,
Just sent MO to Martin for the Chin Spoiler.. Very excited.. :silly:

Martin , do you still need a dash to mold from.. Since I got your spoiler maybe a hook up on the dash if I send you the Dash.. For now it is a spare.. I ended up picking up one in a little better shape.. (Didn't want to purchase a Pad)..

Will this be an entire dash, I assume no Glove compartment..
How about all the other stuff like radio, knobs.. Can you elaborate on this project..

Hey Guys,
Not trying to compete, just offering a LHD for Martin to work on..
If he does RHD first or LHD, that is up to him... Just figured, I would offer it up.. Hell, I am excited about the spoiler..
Just trying to be a good person, specially for LHD late model Supers...
Thanks
Alex
