Deleting Useless Wiring

So I'm in the middle of rewiring my car / troubleshooting the lights, and I wanted to know if I can just remove that diagnostic block and all the wiring associated in the back, as well as the fasten seat belts light/sensor deal without any problems. It seems to me I've got a bunch of cluttered wires that aren't doing anything at all and I'd much prefer it if they left, but I don't want to open any circuits and have to track down some silly mistake because of it.

Thanks for any help!

You can yank all the useless wires out of the harness.
Ours was half as big after removing the test plug crap.
Of course then we added wires for gauges after
