handling for the standard beetle

Just curious what you guys with the stanard bettles do for suspension ? Ball-joint or link-pin ? Do you run coil overs ? what brand ? WHat about for the rear ?

I've seen a few oval's and Ghia's on the track ,I'd like to know what the options are !

The most common std front mods include bilsteins or koni's. A ball joint setup is the preferred choice for cornering between link or ball joint.

Also a whiteline swaybar is a popular choice for handling improvements (aircooled.net). They are adjustable and very well made. check out some tech articles and search on google.

My front end I'm selling

I have a ball joint beam that is fully complete ready for your coil over setup of choice for sale. Only the best! Included are the following:

CB performance puma adjustable beam-170-Black

Red urethane bushings from aircooled.net (much stiffer and more accurate handling)-20

Through rods with allen tightening clamp nuts from prowlers.com-55-black

Extended travel ball joints to restore correct handling to lowered rides from mid america motor works-45-silver

New (not reconditioned) steering box from aircooled.net-110-box is silver-worm gear cover and nuts are black

New 1" thick light weight aluminum tie rods from prowlers-70-silver

New tie rod ends from mid america motorworks-38-natural

Stock trailing arms-silver

Everything is coated in Por-15 High gloss black and silver

Let me know if you are interested and then we'll talk about prices.

I also have new torsion bars if you don't want to do a coil-over setup.

I'm selling it because i've decided to either go with volkdents setup or a 993 front end with macpherson style struts
