line-x or rhino liner on floorpans?

Hi, has anyone considered, using the rhino-liner, or line-x truck bed liner on the floorpans of their bug. I see a lot of people use the por15 paint, but I haven't seen any using this type of coating. I think the line-x would be great against water and other elements. It seems to last forever in the bed of a truck.

I'm not sure about the floorpans but I have put some on the firewall of my bug. Looks great and is holding up well.

I used generic FLAPS brand truck bed lining on my pans. Works great and since I don't have any carpet in my car, it provides good traction. Hopefully it'll keep em from rustin too.

Aurumen, Just want to make sure, you have it on the inside instead of carpet? How long have you had it? what was the cost? Does it hold up to solvents, like gasoline (thinking engine bay).

Thanks
Ron

Here was my plan. I gotta put in new pans and channels. I am going to POR-15 the pans/channels. Once that is ready to paint, I will coat it all inside and out with bed liner coating. After that, I might spray it the same color as the car. Then I'll cover all the pretty new work with carpet and sound deadening stuff.
