Tangerine Superheader
I just wanted to say that I'm totally stoked. I just picked up the full deal tangerine super header for my T4 in Type3 setup. I'll be looking at another square today to put it in. Hope to get this thing running within the year, but you know how that goes. Subframe reremoval approaching and nowhere to do it (damn HOAs).

Congrats dude. I'm still considering stepping up to the pump on a Tangerine Racing header myself, but I haven't got the scratch for it now.
HOA's pissing you off? Move your couch, your TV, and a beer cooler out to your front lawn and enjoy a favorite televised sporting event in outdoor bliss. Tell your neighbors your just having a "garden party". I helped a friend do that once. It was a riot!

I took a ride in Jakes 914 (2316 with the Tangerine setup) on Wed night. What a sceam. That exhaust has the best tone I have heard on a 4 cyl. yet, and the car runs and pulls like mad. :agree: :agree: :agree:

But in other developments, I just bought another '71 squareback with a sunroof. The whole rear end needs to be redone (bearings, brakes, CVs, etc), but I have a subframe on my *other* '71 squareback, except with frame horns. And a friend just bought a house with a garage about 4 blocks away. A real fixer upper. And he needs tools and know-how. And I have both. You know what that means! Unfortunately, due to Swedish import laws, I have to keep it stock upon import, which is another reason why I bought a new square. I'll be 1600cc for a year, then 2270cc after that. What a hassle! It's all coming together.... Did I say sunroof, yet? You can all be jealous now. /sunroof. |
