Custom Type IV exhaust for 63 beetle - updated pics inside!
Hello
Just thought I'd post a link to pictures of my new custom exhaust I have had made up for my 63 beetle using a 2L type IV upright converted engine. http://www.netspot4u.com/~manxclub/gallery/album02 There are also heaps of pics that detail the progress of the project rebuild to date. Cheers Alan Last edited by Dasdubber; February 27th 2005 at 20:39. |

Very nice! That is an excellent muffler! It was built from scratch? what is it packed with?
Nice work. Dave

Updated some pics of the exhaust system - ceramic coated the pipes and had the muffler polished (stainless). Still haven't had a chance to weigh the system. Muffler is a two chamber design glass packed.
Cheers for your interest: http://www.netspot4u.com/~manxclub/gallery/album02 |

Intalled the extractors, stub pipes and muffler on the weekend! Totally forgot to weigh the system until I looked at this post again (sorry bout that!).
