Last I heard, Jake Raby had a set, but they aren't cheap.

Jake, did you ever get Carbon Joe to quote you on reproducing the 912e tin?

I'm also looking, and know of a couple of others who are too. Surely there's a market for a limited production run? Otherwise I'll have to spoil the look of my engine bay with some kind of cack-handed home-made effort

So does this mean more and more people are going the TIV-engined 912 route?

Cheers

James

Just to add to the search, I am looking for a 912E engine mount bar? Does anyone know of where I can find one?

Also, we should definitely see if we can mock up some molds from the 912E engine tin and have carbon joe make them for us. I am sure that we can get enough people together to buy them. Carbon Joe, you around?

There are numerous ways to fab a mounting bar, depending on how neat you want the installation to be. My car has been done with a 411 bar and two lengths of all-thread - not the most aesthetically pleasing method, but it works.

Getting the tin reproduced is, paradoxically, the easy part - first someone needs to get hold of a set of tin in the first place to take the moulds from

I have a complete set of tin...It would be cool to have it done in carbon fiber though.

Congrats on finding a set of tin - let me know if you manage to get a decent quote for reproducing it.
