Hi

The car is amazing, the flared fenders/mudguards look right, many people with Ghias get them so wrong.

Really, REALLY cool. What did it end up weighing and how much HP? Did you get a F/R weight distribution on it?

I'm sure you had your hands full, but this caught my eye as you made a blur through the countryside:

We'd love to see your future posts here!

I guess it should had ended weighting about 2,500lbs which is about 500lbs less than a 993 Carrera. For a Non Varioram engine power should be around 275hp, giving around 9lbs per hp. Non Varioram 993 is around 11lbs per hp.
Weight distribution on a 993 is around 40/60%. I guess this should ended a liitle more on the back but not for very much. So sort of a very lightweigth 993. But that exteme good looks, guttural sound and seat of the pants performance can not be measured! I am all over it!!! More, more pictures please!

Wow, never realised there was so much fabrication in this Ghia-6 !
Very well thought out and very nicely executed!
I am still a bit hesitant to try out max speed on mine. I need a GPS for sure haha! My Cw sucks though.
I did 6000 rpm in 5th with the G50 and 18" wheels a few times, but going towards 6500 rpm will be 'interesting'...

Hope to meet you again in Spa next year Alex

I see your english has improved a lot already and no, I don't think we need to talk about that!
I nearly spun as well on the damp track, so just lets agree to be safe next year ;-)

So my estimates were not very fram from the actual numbers!
Thanks for the pictures! Is that the 1303 from Martin Bott?
I really like your Karmann and the Badder one, both are top notch, but
I like your most!
How fast 0 to 60mph or 0 to 100kmph(0to62mph)? Any 1/4 mile numbers?
I clearly understand this car was not build as a drag car but we like to know those numbers.
Any magazine feature?

Exclamation

This car is excellent. I have read everything about it here: http://www.germanlook.org/

I used the Google translator - French to English. There are a lot of nice cars in that forum.
