Alex

I noticed you are in the Toronto area and since I
am new to the VW scene I thought you might provide
me with some info.

The dry sump tank, it is designed for a race car or could
this be used on street machine. Could it also be used with
stock oil pump, plus optional oil coolers in order to increase capacity and keep the engine temp. lower ?? By the way
do you presently have anything else you might be selling
soon ?

I am in phase one of a 72 Super Beetle with a somewhat
stock engine other than 1641 and a mild cam. Hope to have
painted soon and one the road later this fall. Appreciate your
reply.

Hey Allan,

you can use the tank on a street car but you have to get a dry sump pump. If you do not want to do some track racing the dry sump setup is not needed although I do not know of any disadvantages in using it.

Are you going to be at the Great Canadian Bug show in Mississauga on the 10th of August?
