Aluminum corrosion control

I've just removed the rotors from an '87 Porsche 944 and found some surface corrosion on the hub. Is there a good way to remove this and protect the hub for the future?

Bead blast and clear coat, or better yet have it coated with the ceramic header type coating, that stuff is almost bulletproof, salt will not hurt it for many years.
