[QUOTE]When you see it up close you'll probably ask me what size brush I used!
Any good techniques for removing "Orange Peel"?

WET SAND
Yeah, I got some orange peel on the top. I guess I'll just wet sand and buff the whole thing.
Thanks!

That's my plan, however knowing me and the difficulties I've had with this project, I'll either cut through the clear or burn it with the buffer!
I should probably drink a few pints prior....Things always seem to come out better when I'm inebriated! That is until the next morning!
Oh man...I would love to come up and do your fenders but...ummm...I have to wash my hair! Yeah that's it! If I ever get drunk enough to get the urge to attempt another set of fenders I hope someone kicks and beats me until I'm sober! Is it wrong to hate a car?

Other than the fact that I've (for the most part) been painting this thing out in the elements, I think it's turned out decent. I have really nice gloss all over except for 2 places. The rear quarter up by the back window and the roof. The roof isn't as bad, but that rear quarter looks like a basketball! LMAO. Of course I tend to exaggerate some and everyone says I'm my worst critic. My problem is that I have terminal OCD and things like that keep me up at night! I'm trying to get this thing done for the cruise-in on the Saturday after next. The only problem is I have a months worth of work yet! I guess I need Paul Sr. from OCC here yelling at me to "FINISH THE F'n CAR"

Cheers!

Cheech

Dude! If I did the "Smokie Smokie" thing I would just end up vedging on the couch, eating Doritos and laughing hysterically at CSI or what ever else is on the tube as time seems to stand still!......Oh wait! That's what I'm doin' now! But thanks for the "Squirt Bottle" idea! I used to use a bucket and dipped my paper in it! Sweet! You rock!

Hehe, Nope, and no pics tonight....Well I worked on the hood a little bit. But really made no progress! But, Like I told you earlier in my IM, I tried to buff part of the car just to see what it would look like and to get a feel for the machine! Oh man! Do I feel better! I think it's going to be OK after all! Looks like glass....er...ok really shiny paint, not glass....But glass would look bitchin!

Thanks! Well...No pain...No gain! LMAO

Anyway here he is after wet sanding and buffing.... Can't tell anymore that he was painted outside....A bit of advice, try not to load up your buffing wheel too much...Unless you like the look of buffing compound spattered all over your face!

And here's my shop buddy!
