Canadian $ vs US $
FYI,
The Canadian dollar broke 74c USD this morning. I'm keeping an eye on this one because it means parts are cheaper when ordering from the US. Looking to get some wide CCC fenders from Aircooled.net if this keeps up ! Sandeep |

Sandeep, is there a reason why you are buying from Aircooled and not from CCC directly. What width are you going with, I also have 18"s and same size tires as you but my brakes are not done yet. I would really like to order the fenders, but I want to make sure they are going to fit.
Hows the car runing? Later Darren |

No reason .. just supporting the vendors that I have bought from lately.
I'm going with the CCC 3" rear but that may change... When I trial mounted the 18x10's, with my rear brake setup, I've got about 10mm of clearance from the spring plate (have to replace one of the trailing arm bolts with a button head bolt) The tape measure says I need a fender that is 2 1/4" to cover the tire .. with a 3" wider fender you could fit an 18x11. So I will first get a quote from a body shop to widen my original fenders .. then I can pick the width I want. I want the rear fenders to fit REALLY close to the tire. Hoping to have it look stock, without the "steamroller" look. The front says I need a 2" fender, even with the lowering.. so I'll get the quote and see. Also, I MAY narrow the front end so I can use 1 1/4" wider fenders.... lets see though. Car is running well ... waiting for a cup brace before I can REALLY abuse it. Sandeep |

Sandeep,
Can you let us know how much the quote will be ? I'm going to install spacers which will push my wheels outside the fenders, so I am also looking at widening/replacing them. Maybe we can get a group buy discount at the bodyshop Rob. |
