Thumbs up NICE !

Looks excellent !

I noticed in the pics that the underside of the fender is masked. Is that to show the Carbon on the inside ?

Won't it get rock chips ?

Congrat's Alex

It always seems like such a milestone to know the body work is complete and the paint is finished. I'm so envious. My project seems to be in perpetual limbo. Now, to get busy on the wiring. Hopefully I'll get down your way to give a helping hand. Has Oliver given you a time line for the engine? I should call him this week and ask about mine. Can't wait to see the car in your garage. You might want to look into an electric heater (gives off less moisture). Damn it's cold early this year. See Ya Later.

Well...tomorrow I will pick up the bumpers, last fender and see the hoods which were painted from the inside.
The inside of the car might get painted tomorrow.
I hope to finish the pan tomorrow and the car should come to my house next week if everything works out.

My heads are being machines.....and some other engine parts are in the works.
So there is progress in all directions now.

Alex, you certainly will have one "FINE" Beetle and the
respect of many for the awesome job you are doing.
Now hopefully your wife will fall in love with it just like
she did with you. Then you will be on the good side if
you decide to $pend sorry I mean INVEST more $$ for
your child's inheritance.

Way to go; keep me posted I would also be interested
in helping out in anyway possible (ie. wrenchman, helper,
chief for BBQ, clean-up, etc.) it would be fun just to see
and experience the excitement with the boys. All the best
PM for telephone numbers if you do not already have.

Allan; Insurance Broker

(PS I hope to also get my Super back from the paint shop
within ten days and looking forward to getting back together)

Man, I can't believe how good that looks.

Is this still at the shop or do you have the car at home already ?

The outside will be painted tomorrow or Friday. The car should be at my place next week. Just in time for the November meet.

Wow!!! I would bring the beer if I lived a little closer to all the action in To. You guys are definetly a inspiration. I wish there were more radical guys in Calgary just to motivate me more. Finally ordered my fenders, maybe once I get those it will put a fire under my butt to get somthing done.

Keep up the great work, and post tons of pictures.

Darren
