Thumbs up

I have to appreciate any conversion thats done well, I've seen some vw's with V8's t5hat were done well, not something I'd do but you have to give respect where its due, however I've seen way more butcher jobs where people don't bother to do it properly.

I like your ride and I'd do the same thing to my panel if I came across the right deal on the engine. Vintage guys have their place, but unfortunatly they sometimes forget it. a well executed swap and resto/custom like yours deserves a lot more respect than some people are willing to give, so ignore them.

Dont worry about the vintage guys. As you said you made this car for yourself and you did a whole lot of good engineering to get there. Your bus is a textbook example of a germanlook vw done right.

I myself am not a fan of busses of any kind, they are slow, cumbersum, did i say slow. Well anyway's your bus has changed my outlook completely and now a vehicle like that I could see in my fleet.
I have had history in a vintage vw club, vintage people are the most closed minded people i have ever dealt with. So if your bus pisses them off them it gets some more cool points with me . Your a inspiration to all of us, by getting you project on the road. Keep up the good work.

Nick
