Herbie X pix

Here are some pix from the last visit Herbie X made to us. I talked with the owner a few days ago and he is running strong. In a year or so He may be back for some engine upgrades, 102 nikies, cam change and ECU swap are some of the posibilities. Herbie is not a true GermanLook car but all the thought and materials used are from the GermanLook handbook.

Thanks. This was a fun project. We stuffed it full of goodies. It is not a just a looker, it gets driven very hard, very often.

Do you have definitive proof of how well the NACA duct works under the car?

Thanks,

Jason

We did not do any with/without runs. But it is the only way we could get clean air to the oil cooler after the A/C system was installed. I am sure oil temps would have suffered without ducting some air to it. Oil temps are controled very well in all driving conditions with this set up.

Herbie X will be back with us for a few upgrades soon. One upgrade will be a One Off modified BugTech shifter with a laser etched 53 gumball.
