If I place my old lines on the car they fit but they are in need of replacement. But still why the length difference for the same part... The 951/944 braided lines I have are too long for the car. Something like 15" to 19" appox...

Anyone know where I can get 13" M/F stainless steel brake lines for my car. My stock 15" lines are too long since I did the disc brake conversion.???

Boygenius, I am doing the same mastercylinder upgrade and I would like to know how much you had to cut down the rod to get the mastercylinder to fit. Is it the threaded unit that hooks up to the brake pedal or the piece that comes out of the mastercylinder? Could you post a pick of this modification?

I first measured the angle of my pedals with the stock push rod and stock M/C in place. I then installed the 911 M/C and the pedal assembly without the push rod. I placed the push rod into the M/C and next its mount on the brake pedal. I then looked at the difference in length and started trimming down the push rod. If you M/C has the same long collar coming out the back of it you will have to reim that down so it won't stick into the car and possibly bind on the push rod. I ended up with a length of 80mm total measured from end to end including the threads. I used a hand file to round off the end of the push rod just like the factory one. Remember to leave a little extra for mistakes.
