Windshield removal

Guys Im new to the forum and trying to restore my 69. I need to get the body to the body man for sand blasting but I have never removed the glass windshield. How do I go about doing this? Actually I need to get all the glass out.

AA69BUG,

Make sure your body blaster doesn't use sand or anything like it. It will warp your body panels !!

He should use something like soda powder, plastic beads, media, ect. Something that won't heat up the metal. Sand or glass beads does a number on metal !

Take care and good luck,

Kelly (Cohibra45)
