Very tempting:

the price has dropped $1000 twice in the last couple of months meaning they'd probably accept an offer just North of $10K. Maybe in a couple of years I'll do one of these hybrid VW/Boxsters. I need to finish my bus and get my garage in order though.

It's says it's a 2.7L in the ad. but I think that's a typo. Should be the RS60 3.4L 303hp version, correct?

Add a VW fastback body, just get in an go, right?

Looks like a great starting point!

I've started a BMW M3 Touring project that is sucking up funds, but it's a very smooth swap, not nearly as much custom as the Bugster, and it will be my daily driver, so it has priority.

Still waiting on finalization of my shop, may be as close to a week away, but I wont start back up on the Bugster till the summer at earliest.

Can't believe it was Jan of '16 since the post about the Touring! It's STILL not complete, but will be going under the knife in the next couple of weeks. Bugster is still tucked away in the shop, which will be finally getting power in the next 3 weeks too, so good things happening here. I don't expect to get anything done on it till this winter, but after the power is installed it leaves the door open to get the lift in there and get the Bugster back on the build again.

Any updates on this Bugster in the last 3 years Jason? Would it be possible to reupload your images too? All those seem to be missing now sadly
