944t Trailing arms conversion.
Is anybody able to do a topic on 944T trailing arms conversion? What are the parts to get, etc 86 944T arms, springplates, torsion bars, cv joints, driveshaft, suspension setup, bushings and any other modification needed.
Any inputs will be very appreciated. |

That's a pretty broad topic. The parts bolt on, but may not be suitable for a particular application. There is much more to it than just bolting on "the best" of the 944 parts. Every project is different and will have different requirements or limitations.
A single source article on the effects and benifits of each part or combination would be usefull. The info is all on these forums but not necessairly in one place. I think a single article on 944 rear suspension interchange would be a well used piece. ken |

Is there an article about how to fit 944T brakes on supers? or is a similar procedure to the standard beetle? it seems that everyone is fitting this brakes to std bugs...

I think it is easier to fit the 944 brake in a supers than a standard beetle because you just need to adapt the whole 944T spindle/brake assembly in a 1302/03, no need to fabricate any caliper adaptors and special bearing bushings as for the std beetle.
