Just installed my C/F dor panels from CARBON JOE. Pics from VW Panic!

i got my new carbon fiber door panels just in time for the VW PANIC where i took home an award. tons of people kept asking me where i got my carbon fiber parts from and they couldnt beleive that they were made locally. the show was fun but just seeing the look on peoples faces to these parts was even better. thanks to CARBON JOE for all his hard work to get me my parts in time and i cant wait til i get my decklid. as soon as i get that on ill be posting pics too.
ohh yeah i also threw in the pic of my recently painted calipers. its just my little stock calipers trying to look like baby BREMBOS.
enjoy

Brian, looking good man!

btw, how did you mount the door panels?

and what are you doing about door pulls to shut the doors?

well i am still doing some trial and error on how to mount them but currently whats working best is velcro which has adhesive on the backings. i like it cause it doenst have to have the look of being screwed onto the door or snapped on. its working out really well. as for the door pull or arms rest im still looking for hte right ones. i have lots of pics from VW SPEED, SUPER VW, etc. with perfect door pulls or arm rest. they look perfect on C/F im just trying to find some just like them.

Have you had any probs with the adhesive failing on the velcro in hot weather?

6SPEED, the wheels are VELOX VX6's 17x7. i wanted to get something different and i guess i found it.
SUPER NINJA as for the adhesive its doing pretty well. considering the heat it is holding up really well. its actually a different kind of adhesive used on the velcro cause its made to stick better with time. its some really sticky stuff. hope that answers all your questions.
