944 alu arms

Do the spring plates from a 1985 944 bolt up to the later early type alu arms?

Hi

As far as I can tell the steel arms used one type of spring plate and all alloy arms use the same spring plate which is different to the steel arms.

springplates

The springplate from a porsche 944 before 1986 (steel arms) is not the same as the one for the porsche 944 after 1986 (alu-arms). You must have the right springplates for your arms. I have personaly had the experiance.

Friendly regards,

Tom
