To paint or powder coat mag rims?

I was quoted $165 to powder coat each rim, and thats not including blasting the rim! I didn't even pay that for all four to my door! Is this alittle steep? Thanks JR

The price varies in different parts of the country. If they can give you a nice smooth finish (no lint or trash), $165 is not bad. I've never had to pay for any powder coating before. The last place I worked at had its own coating system set-up, and then I got my own stuff before I left.
