944 spring plates

Hello ,
I have been lurking on the forums for a bit looking for some answers on a 944 rear suspension swap.
I got late model turbo alu arms , however the guy I got them from <junkyard> across the country torched off the spring plates .
I have not been able to find any 944 plates /torsion covers etc... locally
So I considering using swing axle plates/covers and bars .
My question does any one have a pattern to cut the spring plates , or a dimention to put the holes for the alu arms ?
Thanks

I would just look on ebay for someone selling theres. If you can't find any seperatly for sale look for 944 auctions of cars being parted out. I found a 944 rear anti-sway bar with all the mounting hardware for $10. I saw the rear suspension lying on the ground in the background if a picture for someone selling a 944 transmission. I simply asked the seller if he wanted to sell his sway bar and he was more than happy to.

Hey Brad_GT,

I have a set that i don't need, i've decided to go with a uniball setup. I'd be prepared to sell them at a reasonable price.

I'm in Redmond, WA. Send me a private email to discuss further.

The lesson to bone picking at a yard is do as much of it as you can yourself, if the yard will allow you to. Otherwise you will have problems with people doing things the "easy" way wich just makes more work for you.

If I were to offer a set of 944 turbo ride heigth adjustment spring plates that have been altered to fit a beetle with out having to modify the beetle frame where the spring plates sit, would you guys be interested? Keep in mind that the spring plates will no longer have the ride heigth adjustment option and will use stock VW rubber bushings. How much would those be worth?
