Something I just recently discovered

First off I am not trying to stir the pot or cause trouble. Just something I found while surfing the other day it it really made me say hmmm.

According to the Germanlook.com there is a link that shows the prototype to Supe's Mad Maxx strutts. Here is the picture I speak of.

While surfing around some racing websites I came across a build thread for a Dodge Neon being built to autocross. Here is the link to the thread.

http://www.autocross.us/forums/index.php?showtopic=3929

The topic is mainly about building a wind splitter for the neon. However, the 6th post has a link to a set of struts the owner built for the neon, along with a parts list of what he used to build them.
To save some time here is the link.

I am curious why these 2 pictures are exactly the same, minus Supe's has the sticker in the middle blurred out.

Once again I am not trying to cause drama or stir up trouble. I just wanted people to see this. I knew if I posted this on his site it would just get deleted.

Me either. 2 different pairs 2 different sizes would make one think they are for the front and rear of the car being fitted with the splitter and not developed for a VW 1303. I think the pix was hi-jacked for Superman's site. I am not shocked at all.

Guess that is the only thing you can really call it. Stirring the pot. Sorry for having to do it on my first post.

One thing I can't stand is someone taking credit for someone else's work. Whatever that may be. I remember when the whole BS between him and Topline hit. This picture was used in a now deleted topic. He said these were his prototypes for the new age of Super Beetle suspension parts that Topline stole the idea for and did a crappy job of producing them. Still has the pictures posted on his store opening page.

After reading all the BS of what went on with this site and his and Topline I decided to not visit his sites and leave it be.

Then today while looking for tips on making parts out of fiberglass I come across this thread, I got hooked and started reading more. Then I see the picture and immediately recognized it.

If these struts posted are really his and he originally designed them for a Neon and later decided to use them on a SB then I apologize. Just seems unlikely. That and the guy posting them on the year old thread is named Shawn. Isn't Supe's name James or John or something.

Once again, sorry for my first post being negative. Just felt the VW community needed to see this. Especially all the Super Beetle people unsure of what route to go with their suspension.

I remember seeing that pic used on the germanlook.com landing page when he was ranting about Topline copying parts. My comment was he is mad because Topline copied a strut that he copied from Kerscher. Now he is selling Kerscher struts. Not real sure about anything he says. But that is just me.
