Thomas Knight Electric Super Chargers
I was reading in a mag when I came across this product.. Not a direct bolt on, and a little pricey, but has anyone thought or pondered on adapting something like this to there 1600 TI or a TIV...

This came up on Pelican Parts' 914 Forum concerning something similar (the eRam) and I offer the thread up as FYI.
Remember, it's going to take juice to run those electric motors, so you'll have to factor in that load (and subsequent power loss) on your charging system.

While at work I was pondering how to hook something like this up.. What kind of manifold adapter would this entail, any thoughts..

You could make your own turbo kit for less $$$ and make more power...
