front roll bar 1302/1303

whats the difference between early and late front roll bars? i know one is wider but can't remember which one is which, also whats the difference with these front roll bars for lowered cars? is it they don't have the bent up part or they shorter to alter the castor angle? need to replace mine as not happy with it but want to know what's gonna work best for me.
