Congratulations Dave. It is great to see a very cool GL car in Hot VW's and best of all it is yours - it looks great and is very well deserved.
One of the things that they did not mention in the article is all the help that you give others while working on your car- so I want to say thank you for that.

Congrats Dave! Eventhough I haven't read the article yet, I'm sure it is bad ***! :agree: :agree:

It's just too bad that it wasn't running MassIVe power yet....

But atleast the powerplant was assembled at Aircooled Heaven and it sports a Type 1 DTM (DTM#3)
Congrats Dave...

Great going Dave,

Just got my issue in the mail (slow here in Florida) !!! Very nice looking and very clean to boot!! I noticed your 'third' brake light. It looks to light up the whole southern sky

Very sweet ride!

You really come up with some clever ideas, Dave. Some of the ones you never mentioned to me five months ago should be marketed.

By you.

Seriously.

If you look at my car profile on the main page it is titled. "Black Hole Bug" so I guess Dean used that nickname instead of "Smack Black". Maybe I should change the title of the profile.
Black Hole,,,, Smack Black,,,, I don't care what it is called. It's a feature car in a magazine.:agree:
