Perphaps link the galleries to the forums.

Place a link, such as [Discuss this topic], in the gallery under
"* All images courtesy of the German Look community"
and above the pics that will open the corresponding forum for that gallery.

This way when a new visitor is looking at the gallery (we all look at pics first lol) then they can find their way to the forums.
