Vaper BBQ on Sept 11 in Mississauga
Pete .. I think you mentioned you wanted to crash it with the aircooleds
 Where do you want to meet before the show ? I think its 12 noon till 4pm. Anyone else going to this ? I'll have the bug washed and waxed for this one  Sandeep

Why don't we meet at the intersection of Steeles Ave E / Rutherford Rd E at the Tim Hortons at about 11:15 am ?
The show is about a 5 minute drive from there .... or we could meet at my place (Bovaird Drive / Mississauga Rd) ... about a 15-20 min drive to the show.  Sandeep

Pete,
That drag race launch out of the BBQ parking lot was awesome ... Motor sounds incredible. That gave me the enthusiasm to finish welding up my intakes for the FI conversion last night. If I had your motor, I'd be driving the hell out of it every chance I had Looks like that was the last show of the year. Sandeep

hey pete,
This season i put like 2000 clicks on the new engine, ran great. Then i dropped #4 intake valve seat 3 blocks from my house on my way there, lifter are fine btw.....BOOOOO anyways, ill have it fixed in no time Bry

Drag race launch? That was rolling out, then Hammering on the throttle!
I really need to get some clips together! I've never heard the car from the outside. BTW i found that camera mount we were looking at: http://www.autospeedperformance.com/...al/camount.htm Turns out that Golf is a VR6 Turbo, with standalone! runs in the 11.6's. Turned out to be a pretty good meet/show. Bry, that sucks, i'm happy that it wasn't the lifters. After we talked in the morning, i really thought you would have to split the case. If i ever have to split mine i'll go with the ceramics too. The guy who flowed my heads (Hamilton) buys Shubeck ceramics for V8's. He can get the aircooled lifters too!
