Vintage BBS Collection

Well it seems that these BBS wheels keep coming toward me!
After I decide to build me a new VW project I was sure it have to wear
smaller wheels than my 1303. So I began looking for a set of 16 BBS RS 5x130.
I kept looking at Ebay but they seems to be at $2,000 range. One day I found a set of 16 BBS Mahle that were at good price. I made an offer and was accepted. Here is a front one.

The I began to look for a 944 donor car. A local had one for $500. At arrival it had an unexpected surprise, a set of 16 BBS RS. I got the car for $400. Here a front wheel picture.

Then it was all my fault. While surfing Ebay a nice set of interesting wheels pop out, a mint set of 16 BBS E52. These are Rennsport magnesium centers, so a compulsive "Buy Now" get me these!!!

All are 16x7 ET23 at front and 16x8 ET11 at back.
Anyone having a set of E50, E26 or LM set for my new addiction!!!

Hi! I had read your RS build and makes me try it myself. But I reckon that I had more projects that I can chew! How are holding your wheels? Had you seen the red 1302 with the gold RS. Talk about ultimate daily driving with Stlyle!!!

@Onix: an impressive collection you have, I like the BBS E52 most.

Thanks. Always liked the LM BBS wheels but these early ones had grown on me. But by no means I am expert on them so I do not know the differences between E51 and E52?!?!?

Well I done it again . I had managed to get another pristine set of BBS RS at a real great price! What sealed the deal was the 36 offset of the front wheels with such great condition.

I thought I was bad with 5 sets for the bug, but apparently your love of bbs wheels is insatiable! I've got a set of 15x7 cookie cutters for autox, 16x7/16x8 low offset early phone dials for rain, 18x8/18x10 BSA 215a for street, 17x8.5/17x10 Fikse FM5 for road racing and 18x8.5/18x10 Fikse Profil 5 for road race/hillclimb. How many sets of wheels are you up to now 6? 7?

Hi Pal!!! You got a a very good collection. I really like those Fikse you have. The yellow car on your avatar seems to have some RUF wheels. Am I right? Are yours? Pictures of them?

Right now I have 7 sets of BBS and another set of 16" RS centers.
Latelly the E26 BBS seems to be calling my name!
