Output flanges

Not sure this is in the right section, but is it just type 181 output flanges that will fit into an IRS gearbox to allow the use of 944 CVs and axles. CB performance offer a flance, part number 4482 on their website, that states "fits t1 transmissions to allow the use of t2 CVs. Could these be used? Details can be found here

http://www.cbperformance.com/catalog.asp?ProductID=1353

Thanks in advance.
