Where did you notice this? I have the same problem on the rear end of mine, it rubs at the front of the torsion housing onto the rounded back of the spring plate. I've eased one side with a file but still have to do it on the other side. I did think about easing the edge of the spring plate, bad idea?

Al,

I think its exactly the same place as yours.. I would rather take some off the torsion bar housing than mess with the spring plate.

In my case, I also did not want to grind off metal and expose the raw metal since I had everything zinc plated.

I ran out of time due to weather, but was going to grab my dremmel and just remove the part that protrudes as you indicated.

Ok. I did contemplate the spring plate but thought better of it but the easing would have to be literally millimetric, nothing substantial. It did take a while re-shaping with a file but wasn't too bad. Can't get a grinder in there and the Dremmel isn't up to it. So slow and steady guys
