Need your opinion!!!!!
I am painting my chassis with POR-15 paint to prevent rust. The paint is very thick and I'm worried that it will obscure my VIN# on my frame. The question is should I mask the VIN# off with tape and paint over it and peel the tape off after the second coat of paint and then use regular paint to protect the VIN#. Or should I tape over the number for only the first coat of paint then remove the tape and paint over the number with the second coat of paint. Has anyone used POR-15 before? Anybody have any advice.
Brendan.....

silver fills in better than black, but either way i would take the first option.

I taped over the VIN# with some masking tape and the battery bracket stud and put the first coat of paint on the chassis. Now all I have to do is figure out if I should put one or two coats of paint on the seat tracks. ?????
I don't want my seats to be unable to slide back and forth.....
