993 RS calipers on 951 alloy arms

I have '86 951 alloy arms and the narrow hubs. The 993 RS rear rotor fits over this and its centerline is where the stock 951 centerline used to be. The e-brake parts should work just fine once the cables are modified with the Kersher parts. I have 993 RS calipers, which are the same as Turbo calipers except they have smaller piston bores. What difficulties can I expect when I am going to assemble these parts? I think the calipers will not bolt straight up to the mounting tabs/ears on the trailing arms. Weld, re-drill and tap the holes?

Brian

Hello Brian!

The calipers are a bolt-on the only modification it needs to be done is to have narrow the inside of the caliper bolt holes.
Take some measurements I THINK they need +/- 3-6mm
but not remember exactly how much...

Good luck

Thanks Jim!

I was worried that the rotor would be too big in diameter and the caliper would have to be moved further out.

I understand I will have to center the caliper over the disk.

Thanks again,

Brian
