Red face My chosen rims

I was posting around on a different forum with my beetle 79 Blk w/ tan top and the rims in my profile. Turns out some one did this pice together work of what it would look like.
will this still be ok in the german look or is this tooo ricerish. And if it is, then where would you guys recomend me looking for rims.

Forged HRE's are not rice.

They are expensive, though. Not trying to discourage, though.

Let me ask though, how would the bolt pattern end up, If im correct the late beetle has a wide five, would normal rims fit it?

this Q should really be in the wheels & tyres forum, but i'll answer it here.. late bugs do not have wide 5 (5x205) pattern, they have a 4x130 pattern. you can buy hubs blank and have them drilled to any pattern that will fit onto the hub. offset and width are the big deciding factors as to whether a rim will fit under a stock arch or not

Get them in 4x100 bolt pattern 6 or 7 inch wide with a 38 or 40mm offset. You'll need MaXX struts and/or a spacer to clear the spring. Take a look at PHAT73VW's 1303 Super, he has a simular set up.
