New Engine Option

I just seen this on STF and thought that it was pretty interesting.
It appears to be a 4 cylinder Porsche 911 motor.

Yeah, it's pretty cool. I've seen it before. I forgot what it's called, but it is basically that, a 911 engine with the 2 middle cylenders cut out and the other 2 parts welded together. Custom crank, custom cams, just about custom everything. When all is said and done, it makes the price of a Raby 2563 engine look like your buying a 1600sp from a swap meet.

Now, time to go win the lottery...

There was this article in 'Excellence' a while back and this guy had this done to his 356 I beleive ?

A reliable 220hp... I think I still have the article.

Those are engine made by a guy in California. Stephanoupolus is his last name. he makes his own engine case now and cranks. When I get the article out i'll fill in the details.
